Fundraising: Wine tasting and Canapes at Lincon Cathedral

Last Friday Feucht Froliche Neustadter held a fund raising event in the cloisters of Lincoln catherdral, jointly with the Lincoln Rotary Club.

Feucht Froliche Neustadter has existed now for some 50 years with the primary aim of fostering relations between the cities of Lincoln and Neustadt an der Weinestrasse.
It does this partly by promoting the wines of the area and partly by raising money for charity. Commendably it has raised over Two Million pounds in the last 50 years. Six " sekt" wines, and a dessert wine, all from the Patanate region, were enjoyed by guests at the event.

Particular thanks go to FFN for organising the event, and to members of Lincoln Inner Wheel who worked so hard in the very hot kitchen to produce the delicious canapes which were served with the German wines. (Please click on the club's July Newsletter for more detail)
