Rotary Santa and Sleigh at Waitrose Superstore previous

13 December 2024

Over two days in the lead up to Christmas, members of the Rotary Club of Lincoln dressed up as Santa Claus and his helpers, collected charitable donations outside the Waitrose Supermarket in Lincoln. Over 1000 pounds was raised, which shall be split between UNICEF and a local childrens charity for sufferers of Autism.

Thanks go to Waitrose Supermarket who support this annual event and all the Rotarian Santas and Helpers who manned the sleigh over those two days.

Thanks also to both David McKee for towing the sleigh to and from Waitrose and Paul Killingsworth and his team for the work they have done on the sleigh, the PAT Test and its ongoing storage.

The club meets on Mondays at
The Nightingale,
116 Nettleham Rd., Lincoln, LN2 1RR
