Club Handover Goes Green previous     next

29 June 2015

The Rotary Club of Lincoln can claim new green credentials. For the first time in its 93 year histor, with the exception of WW2, it is recycling a President. Steve Pope who was president in 2008 has volunteered to step into a breech created by the sudden and lamented departure of the President Elect in order to ensure the continuity of the oldest club in the city of Lincoln. His gesture is much appreciated by the club.

Immediate Past President Diane Genders puts the President´s jewel around Steve´s neck and an interesting smile on his face.

President Steve passes on the President Elect´s jewel to Bill Lee.

The club meets on Mondays at
The County Assembly Rooms,
76 Bailgate, Lincoln.
